Mimi’s Fruitcake Story
My Beautiful Dad and Mum would lovingly bake together.
Dad meticulously lining the cake tins, slicing up those cherries and grating the oranges and lemons, while Mum, ever so delicately and precisely measuring and mixing all those perfectly chosen fresh ingredients.
One day I asked Mum if I could have her recipe and finally after many many times of asking , Mum finally surrendered and handed over her recipe.
So decades later, Classic Cakes has been sharing our Cherished Fruit Cake to all our loyal customers
Mimi’s Fruitcakes are all made by hand in small batches to ensure consistency of generous succulent fruits for a rich moist fruit cake . Luxury for all year round .
